Firmware-updates are available on our downloadspage. You can find the updates by going to the Foscam model you want to update and by clicking on ‘Firmware’.

The latest version of Foscam app is 4.0.0 (Android). Updates for Foscam app will install automatically. For iOS version 4.0.1 is available in the appstore. This update contains:

• Added adaptation for new devices
• Other interaction and experience optimization
• The update for iOS mainly fixed the crash of the app on some iOS devices

For Foscam VMS we released the new version for Windows OS (v 3.6.2, 22-03-2023). In this update:

• Fixed known issues
• Added support for new devices

For Foscam S41, S41 V2 & F41 and for Foscam VD1 video doorbell the following issues have been addressed in new firmware [2.x.2.35, 28-03-2023]:

• Optimized FTP function

Foscam released new firmware for FN8108H, FN8108HE and FN7108W-B4 (version 6.2.45.140000, 22-03-2023). Updates:

• Supports new device V5EP and auto adding camera in setup wizard
• Supports recording downloading and recording type distinction on Foscam VMS
• Optimized camera parameter settings and adding IPC via VMS
• Fixed other bugs

For Foscam cameras G4C, X3, X4, X5, R4M V5, C2M V6 and D2EP V2 [2.x.2.31, d.d. 07-03-2023] we released new application firmware. The following issues have been addressed:

• Optimized the FTP recordings

For Foscam cameras D4Z & SD4 firmware-update 2.x.2.48 is available [d.d. 03-02-2023]. The following issues have been addressed:

• Optimized the night vision images

For Foscam cameras G4P V2 & G4EP V2 we released new application firmware (2.x.2.10, date 29-12-2022]. The following issues have been addressed:

• Optimized the accuracy of privacy occlusion position when mirroring/flippin
• Improved the type of alarm recording when accessing NVR
• Optimized the live video connection experience
• Improved the stability of SD card video recording

For Foscam cameras D4Z V4 & SD4 V3 firmware-update 2.x.2.48 is available [d.d. 13-12-2022]. The following issues have been addressed:

• Optimized the night vision images

Also available firmware update for Foscam X3, X4, X5 [1.19.2.4, 09-08-2022] and for R4M V.3 [2.x.2.25, 10-08-2022] in which the Pan/Tilt rotation speed is improved.

Foscam released new system firmware for the cameras below. This new firmware enhanced SD card compatibility.

• R4M, G4P, G4EP: Firmware version 1.14.1.8
• SD2, SD2X: Firmware version 1.16.1.3
• SD4, D4Z: Firmware version 1.16.1.3
• R2M, D2EP, FI9912P, FI9912EP: Firmware version 1.13.1.8

For Foscam cameras SD2, SD2X & D4Z firmware-update 2.x.2.45 is available [d.d. 25-04-2022]. The following issues have been addressed:

• Stability improved

Also Foscam 4MP cameras R4M, G4P, G4EP and FI9901EP v.3 [2.x.2.63, 14-02-2022]. The following issues have been addressed:

For Foscam cameras C2 (v2 and v3), R2 (v1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), FI9900EP (v1, 2, 3 and 4), FI9900P (V1, 2, 3 and 4), FI9901EP, FI9961EP, R4, FI9928P en R2D new application firmware is available [v 2.x.1.81, dated 28-04-2022]. Improved stability of the cloud recordings.

New firmware available for Foscam 2MP cameras R2M, FI9912P, FI9912EP, D2EP and R2D v.2 [2.x.2.72, 30-03-2022]. The new update enhanced the camera security.
