Titanium IPC Firmware Update
We have three ways to update FW on IP cameras: Directly through the camera’s GUI, through the upgrade tool, or by the NVR that is running the 1.4.6+ FW version.
Read Next : ENS Security Firmware Software Tools Download
Note: If you have a kernel update, perform the update using the tool.
Method 1: Login to camera:
Identify the camera on the network, login to the IP camera, we have to identify what FW version it is currently running on the IP camera by going to system -> basic information
Once we know the version and have the file on the PC we can browse the address and pick the File, run the update, and wait until the progress line finishes 100%. The camera will reboot after the update. When the update finishes successfully we can login to the IPC and check the camera’s new firmware version under System->Basic Information.
Method 2: Use IP Manager
Checkmark the camera(s) you wish to update. The cameras must use the same firmware to update together.
Use the drop down menu to select Software (Firmware) or Kernel. Press browse and select the firmware/kernel file.
Key in the appropriate credentials and press Update.
Method 3: Update IP Camera via NVR (1.4.6+ FW required)
On the NVR go to Function Panel-Edit Camera-identify the channel that we are going to update and select Upgrade. Once we know the version and have the file on the PC we can browse the address and pick the File, run the update, then wait until the progress line finish 100% camera will reboot after the update.
